 1. SERVICES AND ACCEPTANCE

1.1. Services: Urban People Cleaning, operating under these Terms of Service, offers a range of professional cleaning services meticulously detailed on our website. From residential to commercial spaces, our dedicated team ensures a thorough and satisfactory cleaning experience.

1.2. Acceptance: By choosing our services, you enter into a binding agreement with Urban People Cleaning, accepting and agreeing to the terms outlined herein. If any part is disagreeable, we advise refraining from utilizing our services.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

2.1. Booking: Ease of access is paramount. Bookings can be conveniently made through our user-friendly website or other approved channels. We value your time and strive to make the booking process seamless.

2.2. Payment: Our transparent payment system ensures clarity. Payment, as outlined during the booking process, is due promptly. Failure to adhere to payment terms may result in the cancellation of services.

The customer agrees to make full payment of the quoted price by Urban People Cleaning prior to the scheduled Service Time unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed upon in advance with Urban People Cleaning. 

3. CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING

3.1. Cancellation: We understand plans can change. Cancellations are accepted within a specified timeframe to avoid charges. Please refer to our detailed Cancellation Policy for a comprehensive understanding.

3.2. Rescheduling: Life is dynamic, and we accommodate changes. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be communicated within the specified timeframe to ensure a smooth transition.

3.3. Refund: Our commitment to customer satisfaction includes a transparent Refund Policy. Please refer to this policy for information on how to request a refund.

Booking Changes: Clients may reschedule bookings at their convenience; however, please note that refunds will not be provided for changes made due to a change of mind. Once a booking is confirmed, refunds are applicable only for billing errors as per the conditions outlined above.

Worry-Free Guarantee

If you are not completely satisfied with any part of your service we will return to your home to re-clean the area/task. If you are home and notice that the cleaner overlooked something please let them know so that we can clean it right the first time. We do not offer refunds, only re-cleans.

Re-cleans should be scheduled within 24 hours of the original service. Urban People Cleaning has a 1 day warranty period. If there are any issues, please email or text us as soon as possible. Complaints received after 6 pm the day after services are completed fall outside the warranty period, and may not be covered.

Urban People Cleaning will not be held responsible for the repair or replacement of items broken or damaged due to pre-existing wear and tear, incorrect installation, assembly, usage, or if incorrect directions are given to our employees by the client.  The Worry-free Guarantee is limited and only applies to areas of the home that we can fully clean.

4. LIABILITY AND DAMAGES

4.1. Liability: Urban People Cleaning prioritizes delivering impeccable services. However, we must clarify that we are not liable for damages caused by third parties, natural disasters, or events beyond our reasonable control.

4.2. Damages: In the rare occurrence of damages during our services, promptly report them to us. Charges for damages caused by our negligence will be assessed fairly and transparently.

5. PRIVACY AND DATA

5.1. Privacy: Your privacy is paramount. Urban People Cleaning respects and protects your personal information. For an in-depth understanding, please review our Privacy Policy, which details how we handle your data.

5.2. Data Security: While we take extensive measures to secure your data, we cannot be held responsible for unauthorized access. Rest assured, we employ industry-standard practices to safeguard your information.

10. INSURANCE FOR DAMAGES

10.1. Insurance: Urban People Cleaning is insured for damages that may occur during our services. Our commitment to quality includes taking responsibility for unforeseen incidents to ensure your peace of mind. All cleaners are covered by liability insurance which covers all damages above €1000 up to an amount of €2.500.000.

11. CUSTOMER PHOTO USAGE POLICY

11.1. Photo Usage: By engaging our services, you agree to our Customer Photo Usage Policy regarding the use of photos taken during our cleaning services. This policy outlines how customer photos may be used for promotional purposes.

12. GOVERNING LAW

12.1. Jurisdiction: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Dutch law, ensuring a fair and transparent legal framework.
